bruh, cuz the world is meant to be this way
IIRC Miyazaki said in an interview that he based his stories in the Souls games from reading English fantasy books, where, at the time, he had little understanding of the English language, and could only read certain parts. So he'd fill in the gaps between the bits he couldn't read with whatever was in his imagination. It's no wonder that the games' narratives feel a bit disjointed when told, but come together in our imaginations.
Fromsoftware has created a world that you can recognize it from any other worlds of other games.
I could not care for sadness in games... If I want sadness, I would just watch a show for that.
