What are some of your favorite cheesy tactics for tough fights and bosses? What tricks have you discovered that exploit the game and make it 10x easier for you? Cool synergies and strategies that may be considered lesser known by others. Take a cheese, give a cheese.

One cheese that I've enjoyed would have to be sneaking behind the Draconic Tree Sentinel in Faruum Azula and casting poisonous mist to avoid fighting altogether.

I've really been sleeping on that spell. Think I'll start using it when I hop on this weekend for coops.

Ruin Greatsword's ash of war tosses human-sized enemies into the air and lands them prone. The time on it is short enough that you can hit them again as they're standing up, and it will re-toss them. Meaning that even the most obnoxious non-boss targets can be functionally locked down and destroyed without them getting to fight back once you land the first wave of destruction.

Rykard's Rancor can deal a lot of damage to large enemies. The bigger and slower the better. It can poise break trolls with two or three casts

The AI has trouble dodging it because the AI dodges after the cast animation and not when the skull flies past them. It's also devastating in hallways.

• Get summoned for Mohg (LoB)

This is how it feels to chew 5 Gum. You can also melt Placidusax before phase 2 if you're lucky.

This rapes Malenia's rotussy harder than Griffith did to Casca.

You can do some really silly stuff if you learn to free-aim Volcano Pots so you can hit enemies outside your lock-on radius, I'm doing a low-level run and I managed to beat the cannon shield miniboss at the end of Mountaintops of the Giants from outside the dungeon thanks to how big the splash damage zone is. Also both the Erdtree Avatars in Elphael (though the second one needed to be lured closer with longbow shots first).

i cheesed the dragon in that bridge near the Bestial Sanctum, by killing him with arrows. there is a little hill close to the bridge, he nevers flies toward you and you can use the ground to escape the fire. i also used those side areas in the big stairs where you fight the two Golden Sentinels, to poison them with arrows and hit them.

BHS+ bloodflame is a cheap and easy to acquire cheese, so it's up there.


also if you have acess to weapon arts or spells that knock opponents down you can pretty much stunlock malenia into eating dirt until she dies.

- Summon Redmane Knight Ogha +10
- Smack Malenia every time she gets knocked to the floor, evade the rest of the time

Very little risk, hilarious to witness. Ogha gives no ♥♥♥♥♥.

When you get to the "secret" level because of ranni quest.
There's an evergaol with a crazy ninja dude. I couldn't beat him first time around when I used magic. So I cheesed the F out of him. Some might call it an exploit.

If you know.... you know. ;)

I'm going through the game right now melee only and I don't plan to cheese any fight so good luck to my sanity.
