I'm an 800 hr Death Pyro...here are my fav spells:

50/50 Int/Fth approaching lvl 200 after staying at lvl 150 for 90% of playtime. Opted for more of a Pyro style due to the 354 scaling of Golden Order seal and more fun incantations imho. PvE focused with PvP dabbling.

Favorite offensive spells:
1. Black Flame - one slotted, talisman boosted, great range for a fireball, and a GOD KILLER (really useful late game).
2. Fortisaxx's Lighting Spear - great damage, jumps to dodge ground attacks, and can usually one-shot testy knights.
3. Black Blade - 1) coolness factor 2) mobility (anime-style) 3) DPS 4) useful in PvP
4. Wrath of Gold - it still rocks and serves a niche (fast AoE) that not many spells don't fill
5. Black Flame Ritual - space-creator and constant DPS against vulnerable (or aggressive) enemies

Honorable Mentions:
Giant's fireball (it's too large and loud, yall)
Frenzied Burst
Unendurable Frenzy


Fav support spells:
1. Black Flame protection - dat damage negation
2. Protection of the Erdtree - all elemental protections in on spell!
3. Flame Protect Me - why is Scarlet Rot so hard to cure?

What casters are ya'll running and what your fav (or least fav) spells?

When I tried a pure faith holy damage run, I came to really respect the humble discus of light spell. It can 1 or 2 shot weak mobs and only costs something like 3 or 4 FP. At endgame Mind, you can clear a ton of space with your little light frisbee for almost nothing.

Yep, it counts as golden order and gets the boost.

I recently made a Golden Order build and Triple Rings of Light is really busted vs evasive enemies/players. A lot of people seem to make the mistake of staying in it's optimal range without trying to get away or pressuring you, and will eventually just get chip damaged to death.

Discus of Light is also really mana efficient.

I’ve deff come to respect black flame more and more as I use it. Certainly one of the best incants for max difficulty bosses.
