Would bringing end-game items to lower level PvP help?
I am assuming most people PvPing in the level 10-25 range are new players? Generally have only gotten up to Lirunia.
If I keep myself at, say, Level 15 but make it all the way to the end of the game and get the end-game talisman slots and items, would this give me an advantage at all?

Uh, yes, people come to dark souls and Elden ring because the games are famously hard.
I mean in reality they are not /that/ hard, but compared to asscreed and the rest of the mainstream games which are basically toddlercore, they are.

I beat all the souls games available on PC including Sekiro. I beat Hollow Knight, I've done item and enemy randomizers in DS1 numerous times. I thought I knew what hard was.

I bought pogostuck

I am broken

Souls games are easy, I have now witness true horror - it wasn't Malenia - it was the honey tree :er_sad:

It's hell with super simple controls. It starts off silly, bonking your head and learning how to move. It then allows you to get over one obstacle, then gives you the middle finger. Before you ever learn to move, you're introduced to wind currents and will continually tumble down a hill bonking your large head on every rock. As you grit your teeth, dig deep, and jump your little heart out, you find a safe landing. YES! But NO! There's a sheer cliff that you need to jump on to get to a medium sized tree. If you go too far left, it's down the hill you go.

If you manage to pass this first test, you find yourself in a very safe checkpoint. Ahhh armadillos scurry around happily, their feet pitterpattering all along the road. But that road doesn't lead anywhere. There are grapes on a vine. You must hop, grape to grape on three different levels. One mistake and you get armadilloed. Hope you enjoy bad country music. It plays each time you screw up badly.

But then, the beauty of it. You figured out the terrible angles, the illogical patterns, and the wonky strategies to bypass the grapes. You fall into what looks like a beautiful tree. But you can't see very well. This tree has leaves. Leaves that block the contours and angles for your precise jumping needs. No matter, you must guess the shape of the branches and hope you don't bonk the side of your stick and tumble back down. But this hell isn't over. The only way to beat the tree is to jump outside of it onto some jiggly mushrooms. Everything you learned about angles and jumping patterns go out the window. But worse, you must cross a gap to get to this mushroom. Shoot to short and you're at the base of the tree. Shoot too far? God be with you; you're back at the armadillos.

But wait, there's more! You make the jump, you are stable on the outside mushroom. Don't bonk your head on the low-hanging branch now! Thread your character through the gap. Too high and you bonk. Too low and you slip on the honey coating the branch. Either mistake takes you down to the trunk of the tree. That is, unless you slip, grip the side of the branch or mushroom, and launch yourself to the left. Back. To. The. Armadillos

No1 reason why I hate PvP: Too many people with this menailty. Then you all cry when there is no one to invade because they all either realised it was not worth it or went to seamless co op

The whole point of "twinking" is basically trying to get easy kills on newbies that don't know how to play yet. With that being said the flashy gimmick weapons that won't faze experienced players will work quite well against new players, hence the whole "endgame twink weapon" thing, namely things such as RoB.

So yes, endgame gear that is OP for early game is very much a thing in that respect, especially if it applies status effects.

Its also looked down upon, no one really thinks much of someone who's record is just putting down newbies who don't know how to play yet.

that would be twinking and is generally a scummy move

I take no financial responsibility of anything twisted, thrown, smashed, bashed, bonked, melted, smelted, torn, ruined, broken, eviscerated, or yeeted. Nor do I take ownership of the inevitable damages that will happen to your psyche. The only comfort in this cruel world are the cosmetics. You can change your hat, your outfit, your pogostick, and some visual effects.

Be perpared, ye tarnished. For you shall experience pain beyond comprehension.

Everything helps.

Use deprived starter class. Get 4 talismans slots. Have Radagon's Sorseal equipped for 20 extra levels at the cost of %15 additional damage. Use Great Jar's arsenal to wear the heaviest armor you can. Get Bullgoat's talisman to further increase your poise. Grab the blessed dew talisman for health regen. Rapidly equipping/unequipping Blessed Dew will reset your regen tickrate, leading to faster regen. Replace one of the latter two talismans with another talisman to increase your stats if you need to use a particular item.

If you're hosting, you can use Godrick's Great Rune for an extra 40 levels. These extra levels amp up your defense to impeccable levels. At this point, you can also use dual Cross-Nagitana's for easy braindead kills.

Let me know if you have any questions.

If you fight lowbies, yes, you will be OP. However, at that RL range you will also fight OL phantoms and other twinks; you won't have any advantage against them.
Legostyle03 Jun 9, 2023 @ 2:31am
You will get an advantage yes, but because of invaders twinking at those levels hosts have begun doing the same. So you will just encounter a host with level 700 password summons ready to gank you in most invasions at low level.

You will have maxxed out flasks + talisman slots + talismans and access to weapons with overbearing ashes of war such as wave of gold so yes it will help a lot.
