Banished Knight Oleg vs Engvall?

I’ve heard Engvall has higher hp and is better at staggering enemies, but does less damage. This would make him better right?

What’re the differences?

Well Engvall and Ooleg both do less damage but his brother does a better job of bringing enemies/bosses to their knees

I tested them both. Oleg has better DPS versus single targets and attacks faster. Engvall on the other hand has better reaching attacks and is one of the best spirit ashes in the game for taking on groups of enemies.

Their HP is about the same, that is to say I couldn't tell any significant difference after testing them on the same enemies.

I´d say Oleg is better due to the rate of his attacks. He is like throwing a running chainsaw on your enemy. Total madness.

Oleg has better dps but engvall uses his storm ability more than Oleg does, making him more likely to stun enemies.

There is a battle of spirits on youtube and Engvall beats Oleg mostly because of poise breaking attacks and stuns. Oleg carried me on my first play untill i got my hands on...THE LOATHSOME DUNG EATER(my favorite summon)

Engvall is super early in Limgrave, does better against 2+ targets, stuns stuff, tanks, is only balanced by 100 FP cost.
Oleg is later, good in single battles. Stuns stuff, tanky, pretty interchangeable with Engvall.

Can't go wrong either way imo. Especially if you can buff them with Golden Vow or Blessing's Boon.
