8.7% of players have 100% achievements
A lot higher than I would have thought given the perceived difficulty with this type of game. Why do you think it's so high?

Or there are like 10 thousand guide on "how to get all achievements in Elden Ring" on web if someone go search it.

Edit: I personally didn't get all achievements LMAO, but it was all like, go and fetch achievements.
kinda same +700 hours and still did get all i only need one more but i prefer to have fun cosplaying as other game characters then to do it

Coz the game has been easy to cheese, that's why.

This could be sorcery nukes, old Hoarfrost stomp, Bloodhound Step etc. Game has been full of "I win" buttons that you can spam.

Would say its harder for anyone picking up the game now than it used to be because a lot of these things have been nerfed.

Not unique to ER. It was not difficult at all to get 100% in the souls games, bloodborne and sekiro if you use everything at your disposal including farming covenant items offline.

Again, there are no achievements that are equivalent to lets say beating DmC 5 at dante must die or Halo Infinite at legendary with skulls or whatever.

Or PVP exclusive achievements. You could in older games but you could always get covenant items offline.

Bloodborne was my first and only platinum game and i am objectively bad at the game.
Diofficulty in a souls game depend on how the player decide to play.
Aside from Sekiro all other Souls games and ER you can achieve everything by watching someone else play it for you and you just follow or you can go underlevelled wth base melee only rellying only on positioning, dodge and attack or even going lvl 1 naked barehands, "each player" make own difficulty at the game.

Theirs not that difficult and challenging to do, but boy is this game tedious as soft really though you need to run through the same 3-4 hour campaign 4 times for different "endings" was interesting. And then theirs the awful mandatory Ubisoft style collection when you need to grab pointless item because the devs ordained it.

Wtf are you on about? If you think elden rings bad try dark souls 3’s achivements in for size. All you need to do for elden ring is kill al the main bosses, obtain the “best” items (almost all of which are obtained during the main journey) and getting 3 endings. It’s not bad compared to ds3’s grind for specific items for covenants.

There's no milestone achievements. That is all.

I assume this is a new difficulty setting introduced in DmC5? I haven't played a DmC in over a decade.
It's been a thing since DMC4. "Hell and Hell" is a modified version of "Heaven or Hell", where you still die in one hit, but your enemies do not. Their scaling is equal to "Son of Sparda" difficulty, too.

Thing is, I collected "spells and incantaytions" for colecting, I dont use these (rarely use any) so collecting these for me are like "just for the colecton" and urned out I did not have some 5 to 10 of these.
"On my own" I had 38 achievements out of 42 (but the 42th one you get after getting it all).

"Best items" depend a lot on how you play, I play base melee only and that is how I like to play and I tend to find 1 fav weapon andd stick with it for multiple playthroughs so all that ""collection" to me is just that, collection.
I just have all achievements because after over 400h trying on my own I got tired of looking for on my own and used guides for what was left.
I dont have all achievements at DS3 because I never used a guide there other than finding the way to Archdragon Peak (that I would never think of sitting still for that long on that specific place using that specific emote, despite the fact I did have emote already).

one of the big factors, which is extremely unfortunate, is the lack of pvp and co-op covenants, and a total lack of multiplayer needed to obtain the 100% trophy.

seems really really strange to offer a 100% trophy that does not actually require you to play 100% of the game. the requirement for 30 wins per covenant in ds3 was way to much for average players, but something like 5-10 wins per covenant would be pretty reasonable.
ohiowizard24 Jan 21, 2024 @ 8:53pm
elden ring is a very easy 100%. you can do it all in one playthrough if you use cloud saves for the endings, and there's no need to progress npc storylines for incantation/sorcery achievements, or enter ng+1/2 for rings. no covenants either, so a lot of the tedium is gone.

So no the barrier for getting 100% in ER isn't any lower than in previous games.
as someone who has platinumed ds1 ptde/dsr/2/3 and 100%'d elden ring today on steam, the barrier is far lower. you said yourself, people would farm the covenant items in previous games. now you don't need to. no incantations/sorceries are locked behind grinds like covenant ones were. additionally, you don't need to defeat bosses multiple times as you did in ds1 for example to craft all boss weapons. there's also no need to explore ng+1/2 to pick up additional rings.

100%. It's an easier game with easier achievments and you don't have to go into ng++ just to finish all achievements.

ya, especially considering the last souls title required 3 runs and you couldn't just boss rush as you had to pick up rings like chlorothany +3 in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ringed city

The only thing that was stopping people from getting 100% in other souls games was the absurd grinding some required. Needing to delve into NG+++ to get items.
Honestly, I am glad it was easier in Elden Ring. I'd prefer achievements be fun to get, rather than super mind numbing and boring.
