Low fps and can't understand why
I don't have the most modern set up ever but I think it should be more than enough

I run the game at 1080p

GPU - RTX 2060
CPU - Intel i710700
RAM- 16gb DDR4

And I have the game on my SSD, despite all of this I get 40-50fps regardless of the graphic settings.

RAM speed?

I have similar hardware and the fps only drops in some open world areas.

Try to disable the ray tracing option, in the graphics menu.
Update your gpu drivers, using DDU.
Close any other background applications when playing.

disable steam overlay, high effects, high shadows, high ray tracing !

I've disabled raytracing and my drivers are up to date , I have no Idea what else it could be honestly

what RAM frequency you have ? anything below 3000 MHz will have performance problems.

Yup, I've just checked it's 2133 MHz, that might be it, so I would have to buy ram with a higher frequency?

I've got the answer to your problem: bad game lol

It's 2133 or it's set to 2133? Perhaps, you might be able to enable xmp in BIOS that can do better than that.

Try playing in borderless mode. Some people get more FPS in it compared to fullscreen.

Just use DLSS mod, Used it on 3060, can play at 4K DLSS Balanced with Ultra settings and RT OFF.

Probably running a 300w PSU
If changing your graphics settings doesn't affect the fps, it might not be the GPU which is slowing you down. Have you tried using the Task Manager or some similar tool to see if any component is running near 100%?

All your components work together to some degree and your game will only run as fast as the slowest process.

GPU is the obvious culprit but if you've turned the graphics way down, and other people use that same card successfully, this might not be the root cause.

The 10th gen CPU should probably be fine. You don't get loads of stuff happening all at once in Elden Ring so the CPU load should be fairly constant. In many games, CPU lag goes from 100 fps to 10 when it gets busy, with no in between.

It's less likely to be the motherboard but it's possible. If the motherboard doesn't support the speeds your other hardware can provide they'll just run slowly. This would be the case if you have a basic motherboard, the kind of thing you'd have at work because it's cheap. Motherboards aren't terrible expensive but they are the most important component, as they tie everything else together.

It's not likely to be RAM but it could be your motherboard being unable to utilise it. You should only use one RAM kit. If you have two kits you'll run into trouble. Most kits have two sticks.

It could also be heat. If your system runs hot it will throttle itself. You can use HWinfo to check the temperature of your components.

If you can't check your ram part number from the rig, download cpu-z, check the tool SPD tab.
There, you will find the part number, ram model and the overall ram specs.

If your ram is rated at low speeds, like 2400Mhz and bellow, it is advised to get a 3200Mhz/3600Mhz ram kit.

If the ram is rated at 2993Mhz or above, be sure that you check the bios, head to the ram configuration tab, and enable the memory XMP profile, if any.

As i know that's just for nvidia graphics, is there any mod for amd?
