is a dex-holy build adviced?
The only ones that I know of that are vulnerable to holy damage are skeletons (not zombies though), and death/ritebirds.
You don't want to go for full holy damage, you want to use primarily buffs, healing, and one or two more situational incantations, alongside a fully capable melee build, in effect.
you're right, since the release i want to play a full holy character because it looks perfect. but like you said it isn't a good choice for good damage. it's more like a support to player
Holy is the strongest element, overall, in PvE actually for much of the game. Its the late game that most are concerned about if you focus too much on using those damage types.
Sacred Blade is an incredibly powerful affinity + buff early and the earliest acquire elemental buff and it trivializes skeletons, deathrite birds, and other undead types while also offering generally high dmg like against knights, etc. You can get fire resin early on but lightning/magic are later and enemies weak or resistant to them are less obvious than undead. If you want to dip just slightly into Caelid you can get the fire ash of war, too, which is really good and also allows fire affinity + buff at same time for heavy fire dmg. Fire is the most common weakness in terms of sheer number of enemies though there are some caveats about that point but anyways its roughly almost as good as holy. Further, the holy pots are extremely strong for the right enemies as they can put out, literally, thousands of damage per hit against undead including bosses like Deathrite birds even at low level. You can use the early acquired holy scorpion charm and mixed physick dmg type to further boost it where the others tend to come later, too, further neutralizing value of the other elements. Its quite an odd choice from FROM.
However, as they prior warned if you stick to strictly holy/lightning you will find resistance.
