Which platform for Elden Ring?
Hello boys, I have 3 platforms (technically 4 since I have Nintendo Switch but it cant run elden ring) and I was wondering which one I should get Elden Ring for.

I have an Xbox Series X in the living room, a Switch and PS5 in the bedroom and a cheap budget computer in my gaming room, it has a GTX 3060 TI, 32gb ram, 2 TB SSD, Samsung 4k 240hz gsync , Ryzen 7 5700G.

So I was curious, can Elden Ring run on 4k 60 FPS on Xbox Series X and my computer? It must be 4k and 60fps.

Im buying it since it is on sale, since I am on welfare disability I only buy stuff when it's on big sales since the only money I get is from the govt, need to be smart about it

Definitely go for the PC.

You have access to mods.

30 seconds of Google and all the information is available for you.

For example, Xbox One X can do 4k 60 FPS but has huge frame drops and your specs are above recommended.

If you want mods, PC without question.

If you don't care about mods it might be safer to go with one of the console releases on this one, since the PC port has some optimization issues.

Idk, I play it on my steamdeck at 30 fps lol. I'd reckon the Xbox would definitely run it pretty smoothly, idk how the pc and Xbox version compare, though. I'm sure pc would give more graphics Options, though.
Couldn't tell ya if they will be 4k and at 60fps though.

Idk why that's a "must" though. Why is everyone so obsessed about having 4k and 60 fps? "Maximum Graphics or what's even the point"

If your pc can only run on low graphics, you're still able to enjoy the actual game, which is a fantastic game

Some people can't afford half of that even after months of work. Weird flex to post pictures.

I managed to run elden ring at a more or less stable 30 on a 2009 mid rig, with a bit of tinkering :D

no skulls on xbox. so the PS is best option. free runes just for riding around, which is fun for other reasons. like going somewhere.

I don't know how it is now on consoles, but on release the definitive edition was PS4. Yes, Four. And no, Xbone and PS5 are not made for 4k/60fps.

I can play it fine with no drops on PC with a r9 380, 7 3700x after lowering a few graphic options. So you should be fine.
In addition, you can disable ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics options like motion blur, vignette, bloom, DOF, lens flare, FXAA/TAA on PC.

maybe they need better money management then, i just get $3600 a month in disability payment and i im doing good, i always wait for discounts before buying anything. winter sales, summer sales, spring sales, black friday is the times to make a killing/bargain.

only a fool would buy something at full price in this day and age

Ironic coming from the level 0 account. Asking if elden ring can run on 60 fps 4k mode isnt trolling.

Nothing you have will run the game at 60fps and 4K. PS5 will run 60fps at 1080p and XBox will not. At 4k the PS5 will fluctuate between 30 and 60fps. Your PC might run 60fps at 1080p if you lower the settings enough.

really, my computer run cyberpunk in 4k with high settings at 60 fps (with ray tracing off) , god of war 2018 at full settings 60 fps 4k, doom eternal high setting with ray tracing also 60 fps.

elden ring must have extremely poor optimization if i can only get 60fps in 1080p on a gtx 3060 ti.

i know my computer is a cheap budget pc but it shouldnt be that bad, like who plays on 1080p these days, that's so 2010, not 2023

the computer itself only cost $1500, then $1000 for the monitor, keyboard $100, mouse $100, headset 150$ speakers $100. so only around $3000 total for the whole package

it was marketed in the lower bracket for people of low income. i think it was one of the cheapest and most basic deals they had

it's this one

https://www.komplett.no/product/1178892?noredirect=true#

isnt that something low income americans pick up for cheap at walmart?

but yea i will go for pc version i think, but if i can only get 60 fps at 1080 then i dont know. since i have a native 4k monitor i intend to use it for what it is intended for
