Both. The Ash of War is great, but the weapon itself hits like a truck.
Also useless against Mogh , the fire giant dad and anything dont giving a damn about fire.
But sure, it gets things done in NG0 hell and even 1,2,3 but the more you do the less efective it will become.
So i swaped to something else and got my healing from Erdtree heal, more efficient , destroys undead and you can heal the whole party in co-op. I dont miss the sword at all!
I could see getting bored of that. Call me old fashioned, but I guess I prefer non-unique weapons. Most recently I was rocking the Guardian's Swordspear on my Samurai.
