I play Offline only.

Don't want to see any 'invaders', ever.

Solo most of the time. Offline for most of my first playthroughs.

I sometimes turn on Taunter's Tongue and Blue Cipher Ring. Sometimes White Cipher Ring gets added in the mix.

I used to turn on Small Golden Effigy, but not as much as I used to.

I have never co-op'd in my own world, except for a handful of times to trade items. I had a few terrible experiences with people deleting bosses for me in Dark Souls 1 before I could get a hit in, so I stopped.

I play my runs solo but I use to help others.

I also admit I used help here and there when I already beaten the boss previously but died some 2 or 3 times and dont want the hassle of trying again and again (10 VIG, being 1shot every mistake I make and that boss not being one of my goals of practice).

Solo almost all the time and I -NEVER- open "my world" to multiplayer, I'll very rarely be summoned or invade someone but once again, never in "my world".

You will only see invaders if you summon for help at Elden Ring.

At DS3 you will see invaders if you walk around embered (higher chances if you summoned for help)

At DS2 you can be invaded at any given time and every time you die you lose max health (to the point you may get to some 50% max health)

Mostly with friends actually...
I used to just use the in-game multiplayer system with a couple friends. It was nice, and the rush of a group of people beating a challenging boss was unparalleled, but now I'm just really enjoying another play through with seamless co-op and one other player. Invaders I didn't mind too much since the coordination between each other to beat one guy was fun but it did get a little old.

Solo in my own world, but I do like helping others with bosses and areas in their worlds. Started doing that after I finished the game.

And honestly, the main reason I never open my world and so rarely multiplay at all is the fact I can't turn off the stupid messages and "death ghosts" ... I hate both of those things with a passion.

I wish I could turn off the white messages completely. But only just that. I don't mind the white ghosts and like the blood pools.

i play solo, summon, invade and help others - strangers only, like god intended

Offline/solo for the first play through. Want to do it blind. Did a second run online but no multiplayer. The messages and ghosts can be amusing sometimes.

Not sure what the point would be of playing online if one does not like to PvP (me) nor if one does not want to take the risk of invaders to get help (me).

So, offline it is (for me). :)

It would primarily be to be surprised less. Such as if you see many white signs or bloodstains, you know something is about to happen. Or perhaps if you want to see some secrets without living in a wiki. Or perhaps guidance on how to make a difficult jump. Stuff like that. I mostly don't think there's a point, but it does have some value.

Solo for normal gameplay, but I don't see the point of doing NG+. Instead I put my sign down outside boss areas.

Its...50/50 to be honest. Sometimes its boring as hell with the host spamming high powered spells to the point where I wonder why they even need me here, and sometimes I get a good 1 on 1 with the boss and have a good time (because the host is incompetent).

I do it because I want a good fight, a challenge in other words. PvP doesn't do it for me, so I fight bosses. If I'm not getting a good fight, I'm bored. Why won't you just let me re-fight bosses without having to go through an entire NG+ cycle, FROM? Why?
