Castle Morne quest= Absolute ridiculous

The letter for the king in castle Morne? Yeah if you beat the boss BEFORE you hand the letter to the king you fail the quest?

Absolute sh yt.

Why in gods name would it fail the quest? Why would you trigger that?
What in the f yck is this Kings Quest 1??????
I thought we were past really really really obtuse quests....

No? OK So this game is kings quest + mario brothers. I wonder why
no one plays this game anymore and like no one at all has beat the game.
what is the achievement like 2.5% of players???

For some players Edgar would not invade in the Revengers Shack, after disappearing from Castle Morne. This in return made it impossible to progress Hyettas quest, as Edgar drops a Shabriri Grape among other things after being defeated.

I assume it was just bugged for some people. And by the looks of it the patch got rid of the issue, I don't remember seeing any threads about ever since.

Yeah. He invades regardless now, whether you've even been to castle Morne or not. Setting foot in Liurnia auto advances that quest to the point that he appears at the shack.

Also to all my detractors, listen I have absolutely zero patience for
a game that PERFECT review scores. Some of the highest scores
ever. I get that the game is great but its far from perfect and in
some areas ie: story, gear, the fact that the game is basically a

Playing this is the opposite, sure it looks sweet but after awhile
of getting poop and fingers and flower petals for loot you start

I feel you my man - unfortunately a lot of peeps have based their entire being on the fact that they got gud at Eldenbornering games and thus the games are flawless masterpieces with no detracting features or issues whatsoever - to suggest otherwise would be an assault against their very character

Less jokingly put though, yeah the review scores are very worship-adjacent, I like the reviews of peeps like, uh... I guess Shammy as one example, who compliments and acknowledges the amazing things Elden Ring has pulled off while refusing to just pretend the mountain of problems Elden Ring doesn't exist and has no effect on the player's experience with the game

I hope you have a good one moving forward with it regardless, though! I still consider my time with the game very worth, just had and still has a plethora of issues

I Agree to the other poster about going to fascinating places.... So true but the
gear still feels like a crapshoot.

(cries in maybe 200h in his most played character and only 2 favourite female armors and no female weapon movesets whatsoever, or any actually beautiful spell, besides Scarlet bloom)
