What are those statues, partially cracked open, with light shining inside
Just wondering if those statues that are cracked and you can see a light shining inside have something inside I can get, what do I need to with them?

You need to get nearby large enemies to crack them for you to get the item.

They usually have material for upgrading weapons. You must attract a large enemy to break them, for example the largest bears or the trolls. Dragons will do too. I think these are the only enemies that can crack them open. In my humble opinion though, usually it is more work that it is worth.

Ok thanks.. Is there a list or map of where all these statues are? As I have seen them long past and don't know where they are anymore

There's one in Stormveil Castle that needs that orc looking dude to break.

Another one after Magma Wyrm that needs the bear.

There's one in Limgrave where there's a troll convention.

Those 3 off the top of my head.

Just shield up behind the cracked statues so you dont get hurt after luring a big enemy to it

The Omen can't break that one. You have to bring the Giant troll from the next area.

Abductor Virgins and Golems can do it too.

I know about the wiki of course, but I can't seem to find the page about them.. What are they called in the wiki so I can find out where they are all located
Tregarde Jul 29, 2022 @ 9:09am
I honestly don't know if they have a name, or if anyone has compiled a list of where they can be found.

lol i didn't even realize that during playing. for reasons i thought i couldn't take the stuff out of it anyways, maybe i did accidently and didn't notice or sth, bc i tried and it seemed to not work therefore i decided i just ignore them.

notsure how much worth the things are anyways, as getting them cracked on purpose is kinda work while ignoring them is easy and u can later on buy most smithing stones anyways, should u still miss some
