this happens quite often to me when i try to help friends or they join up with me, sometimes it's a bit random when it happens, other times there's no issues and we can stay connected for extended times. I think it's a server side problem.
could be EAC related too as a diff game we play that [Sniper Elite 5] also has EAC and it causes them problems with connections and game stability as well.
no it doesnt. it doesnt disable anticheat.
and i love the model of allowing the community to take over long term with mods ,,,, but mods this early in a games release is questionable
Port Forwarding/Admin Rights to EAC/all that, might help with unrelated crashes, but you are still at the mercy of this particular problem.
The only thing you can do is put in a ticket with Bandai Namco. In all likelyhood they will just ask for your dxdiag or offer instructions on port forwarding.
This glitch has been around for a long time, all we can hope is that sooner or later the right kind of attention is brought to these disconnects.
c:\program files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS
Set EasyAntiCheat_EOS.exe to run as an admin.
If you still get the 2-minutes disconnections, do the same with steam.exe and restart steam if it's running.
If steam tells you that "compatibility settings" have been changed, ignore the warning. Running the exe as an admin isn't really a compatibility setting.
I did the thing with both .exes from the start, but I found a guy who said that even only the first one worked for him. That's why I said to run steam.exe as an admin if the other .exe alone doesn't work. You can do it with both from the start too, if you want to be sure.
