do smaller dragons respawn infinite when rest at the shrine and not killing them all?

think so, every time you kill one his health lowers, but 1 playtrough i died after the first kill, later killed greyoll but there was 1 spare.

or you can just beat on the back of his leg for a few minutes and they wont attack you

ok, good rune farming for my level. around minute per dragon - 4.5k runes.

Or you can use bleed to kill the big dragon by hitting his tail while sitting on Torrent, and as soon as you deal the killing blow, beeline to the site of grace and rest. If you do it right, you'll get over 50k runes and greyoll will be waiting to die again. I've done this with a morning star on a level 1 character so I can make any build I want. Since I have access to Roundtable, I can literally make any character I want with any build. My save is with 1.5mil runes, so I can save on starting a new character.

what is the lesser evil? murdering dragon mom by poking at her leg while she's helpless and sick or klling her children in front of her first and then finish the job as she literally loses the will to live?

it will ruin my current run, but good to know about possibility. i guess i will soon be patched out.

Yes, as long as you leave the last one alive you can farm Greyoll's children infinitely.
