Seamless coop error please help

I have all the seamless coop mod files in the right folders, but everytime I attempt to open it, its says "Failed to find "eldenring.exe".
I already reinstalled the regular elden ring, but that did fix it.

If anyone knows how to fix this, help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you are putting it in the game folder did this to me

THe folder and exe go in the folder that already has the Elden Ring exe and L:aunchg protected game exe.

launch as admin

Or try using Steam to verify files integrity.

1. Verify game cache, in case something wrong with base game
2. Take both coop.exe and seamless folder and put it in "....../common/EldenRing/Game/....." where the EldenRing.exe located
If you did it correctly, the coop.exe will launch just fine

3. If not try running the exe as Administrator

Thanks for all your help, I found the issue.

for some reason my PC unzipped the zip into the elden ring game folder, but made a new one and put it in the new one instead of the actual folder.

if you unpack a zip file to somewhere it usually creates a folder with the same name and then puts the data there.....

so i guess thats what happend

f.e

file.zip -> extract -> to ER
it creates a folder named "file" in ER and puts the extracted files into this

No offence as I understand that certain aspects of computer "stuff" can be hard; though may I ask that these requests are maybe kept to other forums?

Two points:
- This is not a discussion about Elden Ring, this is a discussion to troubleshoot a mod that is used with the game to bypass online functionality, and thus is not on-topic.
- There are plenty of folks who have previously reported these types of things; would be a shame to get unknowingly banned asking a question.

There have been a handful of folks who have posted threads regarding a mod before and they got wiped out, so just advising to air on the side of caution. Otherwise, I guess this just means I can finally start asking folks for pointers using Yapped.

You can. Discussions about modding are on-topic. I literally opened a thread here about modding and it didn't get deleted.

What might get you banned, though, is if you were to, hypothetically, spam discussions about modding in bad faith, to try to get the subject banned.

I had the same problem, and it seemed to be an issue resolving the absolute path, my way of solving it was moving the whole game to a shorter path and making sure there were no "strange" characters in the name of the folder.

For example: "C:\EldenRing"

This worked for me, hope it helps.

What worked for me was running STEAM and coop exe as admin.
