Tbh, if I had to be sad at anything, it’s not being able to experience ER for the first time again, not a silly jar helmet.

I’m not sure how frequently that association is made, since a lot of people try to copy him but end up dying at some point to Malenia anyway. However, I know one guy who specifically equipped that helm after they read my username, “Can U Solo Her?” and managed to beat her.

I think the only sad aspect of any of this is giving a damn what anyone else thinks of how you play a video game/how you dress your character.

It's kinda funny given how often some folks within the gaming hobby will refer to "normies" while perpetuating and following trends that are effectively the same crap the "normies" do with a different coat of paint slapped over it.

Play the game, wear the armor you want to wear, and sod anyone who tells you you're doing it wrong. They have to wake up every day knowing they're still themselves; there's no reason to join them in that particular curse.

It tends to be because he is helping thousands of players(literally, he just killed his 2000th Malenia) with soloing what is considered the hardest and kinda BS boss in the game. That legend sorta spreads in the community. And when you back that legend up with videos and a stream well, it leads to something special. I kinda like it actually when a gaming community forms their own little legends, it adds soul to the game's community. Just sad that the helmet is now associated with him since its fun to use.
