I don’t think so - the tree is clearly pretty hearty and there’s Oracle Envoys all over it. From the spirit ashes:
So the transformation was most likely going to happen until Mogh stole Miquella, and it didn’t transform because it was no longer being watered by Empyrean blood.
My point being: I think Malenia is the most evil because she risked the entire world getting infected with Scarlet Rot just to win against Radahn
The entire discussion we had afterwards was... moot. And I don't wish people to keep talking about this for the next 8 pages. I wish that both him and me are treated with respect. I see too often these discussions derailing into hostility and insults, which is why I wanted to drop the topic as soon as he started showing signs of irrational anger. And I simply ask you to not feed that anger, as your reply seemed rather... troll-esque.
I know asking for people to be nice to eachother on the internet is a waste of time, but I might at least try. I don't agree with his behavior but that doesn't mean I wish him to be ridiculed.
I interpret it as the age of the Haligtree. If they predicted Malenia transforming into the Goddess of Rot without some sense of it being caused by the clash with the Tarnished and ultimately losing it just seems a little on-the-nose to me. Being imperfect oracles is something I can understand but the GoR theory just seems too convoluted to me.
What makes more sense about the oracle envoys is that they're also in Leydell - and that's where you get to choose your ending and start a new age. The envoys predicted that one, too - so they're pretty much 2 for 2.
It's for the greater picture. It's indiscriminately.
