its whatever. i only challenge people to rethink how they go about learning the game. this isnt even a debate about parry. its about people using rolls r1 and maybe some spells. and whenever these players run into a problem it must be the games fault. elden ring has so many tools that 99% of the game can be a joke.
and if they try out your way of going about it and are successful then thats a win in my book as its the first step in understanding that there are many ways to go about it.
you didnt open this thread being frustrated with this enemy. you found a way for yourself to deal with them. no matter if we disagree how reliable that may be
and i am sry if i wrote myself a bit into a frenzy. its actually funny also when you see the progress of the souls community. there was the same issue some years ago with the black knights. the crucible knights are in the end nothing else but black nights on drugs. they serve the same purpose
btw as 1.04 nerfed any duo fights parry even became stronger in that fight. before it was much harder to time or position the duo so you could safely go in and parry. since 1.04 one knight stands around and does nothing for half the fight.
and this was not in the patch notes

they are still challenging for most players or ofc new players but they got nerfed hard
They stand still, or slowly patrol very methodic, obvious paths. You will always have the advantage of choosing your attack; they will never surprise you.
And... if you run from one, keep running. I think underneath the armor may be the metal endoskeleton of a T-800 Cyberdyne systems model 101 terminator...
I wrote a message a while ago on how to cheese the first one at the bottom of leyndell.
I'm still getting upvotes. haha, I'm glad i'm helping ppl.
edit: stormveil lol not leyndell
haha understandable. They leyndell one is very well hidden imo. I missed that the first time, and i literally did go check the key ledge.
for the rest of the game, I've been hugging edges and looking down obsessively. This game has a fetish for that XD
edit: stormveil, stormveil.
lol i def meant stormveil XD the one at the very bottom that faces the starting area of the game.
maybe you wont get that if you dont try to blame the game. you criticise the game i do this to you. but its fine. search for some cheese. i dont feel like having an ego war with you now so whatever. feel free to say whatever you want. gonna ignore you and move on
