Nope I don't have this one. I'm playing a magic user right now though so if you can still recommend it I'll seek it out. I have yet to see any armor piece that looks better altered than unaltered sadly :(
Good to know there's at least SOME things that have decent changes. I've yet to find them, I keep running into the cape variety x_x
Oh don't get me wrong 95% are just the cloak gets removed or if its a helm a hood will be removed. Protip though? Armor doesn't matter too much. Just wear what makes you happy. My favorite run through the game so far was as "Rotted Roderika". Basically Crimson Hood with Rotted Duelist chest(altered) and greaves and I think Cloth Manchettes because they didn't cover up the arm snakes from the chest piece. Have fun finding stuff you like!
> Also slightly reduces resistances
Neither does so to any significant degree whatsoever, the armor shaves off its weight by one unit, and the resistances are reduced by about 1%.
If you're only going to wear your favorite armor all game and stay at like 50% equip load, then it probably won't matter and will just be for looks.
Man, you are clueless, and have very low problem solving skills. It's kinda scary that people like you are driving cars, and etc.
Anyway, the reason for alterations is to lower weight of an item, which is for certain builds to be able to function at certain levels.

See I like the capes. I wish alterations had done more with being able to change aesthetics, colors, maybe add or remove patterns, etc
But if past FromSoft games' character personalization options are any indication, there will be slow progress in this department. Maybe there's only one dude stuffed in the basement assigned to this while the rest of their staff figures out ways to kill us.
On one hand, it's the closest thing to Big Hat Logan's hat I am getting.
On the other hand, it is a near total head-wrap (all but nose and mouth) with gems jammed into it, which with some visual mods matches the Azur/Lusat manchettes.
It is a tad lack-luster of a feature though. Like, why can't we just palette swap stuff...
