Universal Multiplayer Password - help
Hey, guys and gals! Let's all agree that the universal multiplayer password is "help" (no quotes, all lowercase because passwords are case sensitive).

This is needed because as we level up, co-op becomes a rare occurrence. But a universal multiplayer password (not group password) will allow us to play with one another regardless of level.

help

Click ESC > Multiplayer > Hover over "Small Golden Effigy" > Click the letter F on your keyboard for Settings > Change Mutiplayer Password to help.

Also, don't forget to enable Cross-Region Play in Settings under the globe icon. Change it from "No Matchmaking" to "Perform Matchmaking."

If you're still having trouble finding help, try enabling "Send Summon Sign" and changing your Launch Setting to "Play Online."

My brother in Christ the game is 8 months old.

When I don't get consistent co-op, it's because I'm over-leveled, under-leveled, my weapon upgrades are too strong, or too weak.

I read that using a multiplayer password removes the limits to multiplayer and scales the strong party down to the lower one. Imagine if everyone were to use the same multiplayer password. We'd all get consistent co-ops!

I will immediately use it to invade you.

Sure. But new players won't know about this and they're the ones that I mostly end up helping. I've never summoned others and don't plan to. I only make myself available for summons.

Setting a Multiplayer Password makes it so you can only be matched with other people using the same password. It does not avoid Invasions. Invasions will happen regardless of whether a person uses a password or not.

However, if the community were to implement a universal multiplayer password, then wanna-be invaders will also benefit because more players will be able to co-op. More worlds = more opportunities to invade. With shorter wait times for both co-op and invasions, everybody wins.

Same, and that's the problem with new players. I started playing only 15 days ago, and I just discovered how co-op actually works yesterday, hence I'm spreading awareness about the potential benefits of using a universal multiplayer password.

I'd like to be summoned more too!

What level are you and what's your highest level weapon (even ones you aren't using)?

Level 40 and +6, etc.?

I like the idea, if people would actually go for it lmao. Right now SEEKERS, FEXTRA, and straydmn are good group passcodes.

They just get you extra runes when killing enemies

Didn't know that, not complaining though.

Pretty sure the closest we have to a universal password is 1234

If I were to set a multiplayer passcode I'd likely use Fextra or Straydmn since it already has a large player base and it's the server that's most likely to grant results. I'll do some testing and see if any of them are effective.
