Don't make risky jumps that you know will kill you.
Game makes double jumps not reset fall dmg for area balancing issues (especially due to how some area are heavily connected to others).
Hence the double jump nerf is neccesary.
You can also drop the colored stone thingies to see if they break (which means you'll die) or not.
Tho personally, Just don't risk it.
If it looks steep, it's for a very good reason.
Sure, it can be balance, but looks ridiculous all the same, and it's fair to criticize.
lol exactly.
What the ♥♥♥♥. Sure it was funny in Super Mario 64 to buttstomp your falls to avoid fall damage.
But why on earth should double jumping reset the distance?
Any dungeons where platfalling don’t have torrent anyways
Just honestly curious, what areas do you mean? I’ve beaten the game and can’t think of one way I could do this to “break balance of game’s progression” if such a thing even exists
Jumping on torrent however, from the same position just results in some health being lost. So it seems torrent negates some damage.
