So been testing this incantation and... its utter garbage...

Like not even kidding, this thing is useless:

1.- High FP cost of 56.
2.- 3 (yes 3) memory slots.
3.- Has barely any range or lunge.
4.- Has slow start up and you are self stunning yourself for a LONG time, around 8-9 secs, from start to finish.
5.- And has next to no hyper armor, making easy to interrupt it.

Could also add that you gotta defeat one of the hardest bosses in the game to even get this.

Its sad, cause this is easily one of the best looking spells in the game, but its beyond terrible to use.

You havent tried some ashes of war then.
There are some...that take roughly 2-3 seconds to be used, give no hyperarmor, get interupted by things like a projectile hit or a dagger hit.
Why? No one freaking knows.

This game is a masterclass of bad decisions regarding balancing.
Scorpion Stinger anyone? Arcane? Faith weapons? Strength builds in general?


Bows? The best you get is a D/D scaling on a maxed bow. Low damage even in the very first run, let alone NG+.
No infusions or scaling changes.
Meanwhile some Bows got an A or S scaling in DS3 and could be infused.
Elden Ring be like "Its a game about using magic and spells and stuff, not physical force."

Ah yeah i have, it sucks.

yeah, definitely want to pair ironjar with any of these greedy spells if you are going to get serious about using them
