when is the right time for fighting blood lord mohg?

i'm about to hit lyndell but doing some co op before going there, varre just gave me a medallion, should i use it and go fight mohg before lyndell? i'm level 85

Finish Leyendell first and level up a bit more. I'd say 100+ is fine for him.

You can fight him whenever, but he's an endgame boss.

You don't even need to use the medallion. You can get there from the snowfields using a teleporter later and do the area proper.

make sure to kill the 3 invaders + the Invasion Sign before you kill Mohg
also he's fairly do-able with +18 Weapons (Smithing Stone 6 Tier), your Level doesn't tell much since for some ungodly reason there are Lvl 100+'s with 10 Vigor running around.
If you got atleast mid level weapons, a good amount of Vigor (~40-50), Purifying Crystal Tear in your Physick Flask and aren't running a lot of -defence talismans, you'll be good to go

Committing the cardinal sin, and beating the story boss of Farum Azula. Those two are the points of no return, I believe.

Sounds good enough, he'll be quite a challenge but if you become stronger than that and if your weapons are bleed weapons he could end up being too easy.
just make sure to have that Purifying Crystal Tear and good luck skeleton

i'm guessing only challange is the boss fight, area enemies shouldnt be that dangerous, if i stack bleed resistance, and use red pills that remove bleed build up, i should be fine, as far as i know using lords blood thingy in mixed one time potion can help too but im not sure what it does actually

You can't unless you "cheat"
2 of the ashes you need for the achievment are from a Quest chain and you can only choose to do the chain for 1 of them per play through. If you're going to the trouble of making a bunch of back up saves and deleting your games and replacing them you may as well just download steam mod manager because it's the same thing. Not getting it legitimately.
