How far am i into the game? [NO SPOILERS PLEASE]

I like smelling the roses and taking my time so so far this character has taken 80 hours and just beat Margott omen king at Llendeyl (the capital).

1) I feel like im near the end though, without spoiling the specifics of future zones how much % have i completed of the main game? I wish there was more than just one final area + boss but it feels like theres not much room left on the map to see.

2) Will there be new zones and also new side zones (the only side zones I know of are caelid and siofra, both i have done about 50% but thats just a guess). How much percentage am i in terms of everything including side content?

Please no spoilers in terms of zone names story or characters but a rough % or a comparison of whats left with what ive already done would be nice to know thanks.

If you mainline the campaign with no side exploring you're about 80% from the finish line. If you're thorough and keep exploring you're probably 60% from the end. After the Capital enemies and bosses take a pretty big jump in toughness, so it kind of encourages searching everything because the highest level smithing stones are hidden in these next regions

Edit: have you been exploring the underground river portions of the map?

If try do all optional stuff about 2/3 through the game

To me anything after capitol is end game, past lift, it and all surrounding areas are mid game and anything before the grand lift is early game

But i havent even gotten to any lift so by what your saying im considered in "early game" yet ive just eaten Morgott in the capital and seem to be "after capital" which you say is end game... So which one is it lol.

I mean there’s a side path but use the grand lift to get into atlus right

I know there’s two, but meant that first lift as dividing point between early and mid, if you’re at capital and just beaten morgott, your knocking on end game door in my books

I just got to Margot tonight and im 110h into the game, I cleared everything else up to that point, including the 4 underground areas (the ones i found so far)

Btw, small spoiler since I almost missed it myself... In Leyndell castle, did you find the underground sewer area? Its extreeeemely easy to miss, if not look, it up

When i arrived at end boss i all ready had all most 400 hrs in. Why so late you wonder right? well first i went in blind my first Fromsoft game second i did zero wiki/videoguides it's CHEATING period. Then as i always do in games like this(TW3-Skyrim as example) i explore don't rush to the end game. When you say 80 hrs to the end boss you rushed through the game. Is it a RACE to you like so many others why want skip most of the game? Oh wait you want achievement so people say hey he did it(man your so good right) right?

You're about 2/3rds through the main quest. If you only do that, you probably have another 5 to 7 hours depending on how often you die. If you do all the side content then you probably have another 20-25 hours easily. Hard to say, depending on how in depth to the optional side content you go. You've only scratched the surface of side content.

I truly am astonished at some of these hour totals. I gained access to the ruined version of Leyndell (the very last area of the game), but I haven't started to explore it yet.

I had over 380 hours in by the time I beat Maliketh at the end of Farum Azula. Then I got completely engrossed in the entire Haligtree region, an amazing area to explore and find new hidden passages, rooms etc.

Haligtree put me over 400 hours. Then the Snowfield region and that amazing ghost city. And that STILL doesn't include the several hidden palace and magical city regions you find with various portals.

That put me over 450 hours.

And I am sure I still haven't found all the dungeons and quests there are to discover.

A lot of players are saying this game has no replayability value, which is absolutely bats*** crazy. I started a second game with a new character, and I've already found a half a dozen or more hidden areas or places that I simply didn't find with my first character.

80 hours to get to Margott is SUPER rushed, omg.

The 60+ optional dungeons, and hero's tombs have some of the best content of the entire game.

400 hours is amazing to me. I'm at 180 and have finished the final boss, every dungeon I could find, and all the quests I could. I'm free Roaming the world helping people, and looking for any content I missed.
