Dunno, G, depends on what you want to do with it.
Moon-good power+realiability
Dark moon-Best status moon to combo with other spells. Plus the power of the weapon.
Astel: Another light fast paced weapon with a unique ash? Don't use much, but only because lack of magic interest. It's a fine weapon used right.
PVP: Moonveil
Darkmoon GS is nice but it's unwieldy due to having an absolute ♥♥♥♥ unbuffed heavy attack that can't be rolled/crouched into something else. Not only that but the crouch/dodge light attack is a slam instead of a poke and actually has an average hit time SLOWER than the greatsword (colossal) dodge+light. The moonbeam is really nice since it doesn't cost anything aside from buffing but it's unreliable (has a weird aim) and still comes out slow. My biggest beef with it is the fact that it has less frost build up than just weapons with ice infusion. Like it's Ranni's Champion's sword, it should set things on ice just by touching it.
Wings of Astel is pretty decent, too, but the WA is basically just Flame of Redmanes but not as good (FoR staggers a lot of enemies, even bosses). Doesn't scale as well as Moonveil (fairly negligible though) and doesn't have bleed capability.
