Waiting on Convergence Elden Ring
Perhaps the same could be said of all streamers.
What is an influencer? A miserable pile of likes and subscriptions!
Edit: Also, holy hell, that necro.
ehh. some of us don't care for coop or anything relating to online for that matter.
Id don't care about none of those. Waiting for DLC :)
See the first reply's post history. Dude has something of a habit of being inflammatory.
imagine getting that mad at a streamer lol
I'm going to wait, got plenty of other games to pass the time.
Basically, you don't need years to develop an overhaul mod, it depends a lot on "what" you want to change and if there are any tools available for it at that point in time.
The reason the mod creators of mods like Cinders and Convergence won't go public for Elden Ring mods yet is because they would need re-doing all the params and rest of changes for equipment, enemies, maps, etc, for every single update Fromsoft will still release for the game.
That's why the Cinders mod creator already has a very beta version of a mod for Elden Ring in their Discord server with "only" changes to mechanics and a few other things, but next to no new equipment or map changes like Cinders has, because it's about testing how the new mechanics work until Fromsoft stops updating the game to then do all the other changes, and not about the tools available or which would need to be developed, because those already exist and the mods could be done if it wasn't because of the updates.
This also means that "smaller" overhaul mods are in no way inferior to them nor it means you need to be "overly cautious" about, they are simply different overhaul mods that change different aspects of the game.
This is what I wanted to point out, Cinders and Convergence have never been the only mods with "mayor" changes, because the tools and methods they used for those changes are the same ones the "small" mods used, and those "small" mods also did an amazing amount of crazy changes on par with Cinders and Convergence.
TL; DR Yes, this is basically me ranting about how it looked as if you were dishing out Ascended mod or any other that wasn't on the size of Cinders or Convergence as something subpar and not worth checking out on the first post I quoted
