Missing Lightning Strike Incantation

I killed the scarab that gave me the lightning strike incantation.
When I got to Brother Corhyn in Roundtable Hold, I didn't have it to give to him to learn it.
Has anyone else had similar issues? If so, were you able to get them back?

I even thought that maybe since the game is constantly freezing and booting me, that maybe it missed it between saves. I went back and the scarab was indeed gone.

Some incantations have to be learned by giving a prayerbook to a trainer like Brother Corhyn or Miriel in the Church of Vows, but others like for example Lightning Strike are directly dropped into the players inventory by killing enemies like Teardrop Scarabs.

now I just feel stupid...
I tried to memorize it and couldn't see it either.
I could have sworn I had checked my inventory, but your reply got me to double check, and sure enough there it was.
I couldn't see it anywhere else because I need to level Faith 3 more times.
