Hailigtree area too hard?

Hailigtree is my last area to play through. UntiI now I couldn't enjoy it tbh. The bubble area oneshots me easily. After that it seemed to be ok until those three Royal Revenants killed me over and over again. I started to use the spells Unseen Form and Assassin's Approach to collect the items by suicide runs. I did that many times in DS3 with my twinks but I am locked at level 125 and like to enjoy my first playthrough. In this area some places are not enjoyable just boring. I mean placing an Eldentree Avatar then at least three Royal Revenants, cheap archers and an Eldentree Avatar again seems to be just bad game design for me. In no other area I had any problems like that. Is this area just for running through?

cast ANY heal spell near a royal cancernant (just sneak up a bit closer to them or stay behind a corner (the spell goes trough walls)). watch what happens. then cast it again while its down. now its dead. and all you lost was a little fp. even at basefaith any class can cast basic heal with just the faith charm. which you get long before meeting these things. the game even tells you this on a note sold by a merchant.

Any heal that isnt the fast heal turbo garbage one will work yes. regular heal is optimal for dmg to fp ratio and all of them poise break them.
royal revenants go from the most annoying enemy in the game to a joke that you can 2 shot with no retaliation

you need 10, not all classes have this, but still easily reachable with a talisman or some other equipment with +faith

Like skipping them? Because I just skipped the bastards. Then killed the knights. Then the avatar because it's just an Erd Tree Avatar at that point. I don't even remember if he's putrid... I'd guess yes since Haligtree, but meh. Murdering ET Avatars is fun!

ye its one that also has the rot spray, so its really hard to fight in the hallway away from the archers, i just used ash summon on str character to distract it while killing the archers first

It is a horrible area (Not Visually, place looks like Rivendell and that's awesome) and I admit, I ran through the BS blockade. Though I guess it makes a little sense considering the nightmare to come after said blockade.

If the Haligtree was easy or fair it would instantly be a terrible and forgettable level. It's the sanctuary of Malenia, the demigod empyrean. It's the source of the chick who was born with the scarlet rot and was still powerful enough to fight off Radahn to a near standstill. The same scarlet rot that one tapped Radahn into a dribbling mess. It has to be the most ridiculous fortress because nevermind the fanatics who worship her or the remnants of her army which was at the very least the second most powerful army. Think about those who are absolutely terrified you release this literal source of interdimensional super cancer back onto the rest of the world.

Farm and Haligtree are some of the best areas in the game imo..…

The treetops area does suck, but the bottom city is great. Only problem as mentionned is that corridor with FIVE (5) revenants, and that ridiculous avatar surrounded by knights and balistas (no idea how anyone can do that without cheesing it from behind).
Oh, and that crystalians trio gangbang right after. And the ulcerated tree spirit in the rot lake.

I good thing about that area, is that theres a lot of routes you can take, for example, you can go around that barricade part with the Avatar and the horrendous Haligtree Knights.

ALL of those are completely optional fights.
