Took me hours to kill this dude. What a pain. Wasn't even fun but I gave him the double-mid fingers when he finally dropped. Next boss will probably have 6 sidekicks and a flock of firebombing eagles...

Niall wasn't even that bad imo. He had attacks that actually had punish windows that lasted more than 1.5 secs. And his trick I found cool. One of the better fights imo.

Adds are nothing in Niall's fight, it's just two normal knights, you kill them in a couple hits and the fight can actually begin :o

Niall's problem is that if you are on proper level you need to deal with two strong summons and then him and thats the problem, the time commitment to do all that just to learn his solo moves is not worth it.

best part i found out the banished knight outside his zone can actually enter if you don't kill it before entering.

You use a spirit ashe close to the door and the knight will attack the spirit and glitch inside.

So you end up fighting 3 banished knight and niall.

I had a bit of fun doing that.

OP you can just do as Martini suggested for future reference. His summons are vulnerable to that pink flower consumable and if used on them it will Bewitch them. They will murder Nial entirely solo for you if you get them and you don't even have to help.

Yea I found this "cheese" online. It was a <something> branch that you could buy 5 of. I tried and failed twice, leaving me with one left, so I actually ended up winning the fight legit. So many things can go wrong when 3 bosses are closing in. I played Dark Souls one and Dark Souls 2 but forgot why I never bought Dark Souls 3 ... now I remember. It should be Tortured Souls. I'm in a dungeon now with so much BS it makes me rage quit. The game looks awesome and is challenging but the hardest part of the game is the pathetic camera and PC controls. Half the time I'm drinking the wrong potion or don't get out of target lock in time to swivel my screen around. Still hanging in there but just looking for the end at this point.

Just a heads up you can craft it too. I don't remember where you get the recipe from, though.

Giant-Conquering Hero's Grave :) 2 invincible watchdogs, 5 invincible imps, 1 invincible troll until you can pull them into the circle of light. Then toss in Fire Monks, flame traps and whatever comes after the invincible Troll...not that far yet.
