What the hell is that giant face corpse under stormveil castle?

The one you can see after fighting the lesser ulcerated tree spirit. Its clearly a giant face, you can see the nose holes, and eyes, or what's left of them, with vertical, almost reptilian looking eyelids.

But then the rest of it seems to just merge into the floor. Its odd, wtf is that?

Apparently its the husk of Godwyn the Golden souless body merged with the erd trees roots

I don't see no erdtree, major or minor, anywhere nearby stormveil.

The Erdtree houses a parasitic lifeform that feeds on the dead all over the Lands Between, its roots reach everywhere.

why? because when Radagon left Rennala, Rennala kinda lost her mind and i can't remember what exaclty but it hurt her a lot and so Ranni, very close to her mother Rennala couldn't take it.

You can actually see Ranni body on one of the Divine tower, also she is the one fighting you during Rennala second phase

Then why is the face manifesting here? It says Godwyn is under the Capital, Lydell. Not Stormveil. So either something is going screwy here, or that face is not Godwyn.

Marika is Radagon

Radagon was an autonomous part of Marika, two entity, they got fused together as punishement after that Marika shattered the Elden RIng

Ranni instigated the Night of the Black Knives and stole a fragment of the Rune of Death from Maliketh solely for her own good. She needed her body to die to be freed from the Two Fingers assigned to her as an Empyrean, but she needed somebody's soul to die, that's how Godwyn became the weird fish thing.

Melina and Ranni are split instances of one another, similar to Radagon and Marika, only they can be in two different places at once. Not sure what that means though.

I consider that to be quite a stretch based on nothing (each having a closed eye and the two looking similar aren't enough for me), Melina tells us she was born at the base of the Erd Tree, and Ranni was undoubtedly born in her mother's kingdom, ect.


It's more likely they are cousins/half siblings.

Most of major character are the child of Marika or Radagon which are both the same person so it make the family tree extremely complicated lol

nah Radagon is the rune of order and marikas the hole elden ring ...that's why the kids came out messed up ..she tried to cheat and have empyrions with herself but radagon is really a small part of her so its like having sex with ur own clone...worse then inbreeding

It is possible that Radagon is distinct male but lured to Marika by some foul magic and then she absorbed him and reincarnated blended into him. The question is so where is Radagon then ? DLC ? Or did Marika really absorb him.

Yeah, which is why I said half siblings, because in-game at least Melina isn't confirmed to be Marika's child, although the game files do suggest she is or at one time was meant to be.

Of melina was created with part of rannis soul that broke off when she used the rune of death and was reborn by the erd tree

So.... Radagon got fused to her when he tried to restore the Elden Ring ?

PS: When i say, autonomous part, it was because Marika didn't control him, he was doing is own things even if he was part of her
