Bloodflame Blade isnßt useable on Eleonora's Poleblade

Hello fellow elden ring fans,

i cant cast "Bloodflame Blade" on my right hand weapon which is "Eleonora's Poleblade" or any other weapon.
I got the right amount of faith and "finger insigne" to cast the spell. There is no X thats shows that i might be unable to do it, but the spell is greyed out compared to "Flame Sling" which i can use...
Can somebody please explaine to me what i´m missing out...

Weapons that are unique and you can't change or add ashes of war on them are unable to be buffed by spells or incantations. If the weapon is upgraded with sombre smithing stones then buffs won't work on them. Only weapons that are upgraded with smithing stones or the ashes can be changed can be buffed.

Weapons that deal split or pure elemental damage can’t receive elemental buffs through grease or spells. Contrary to above, you can buff somber upgraded weapons fine if they only deal pure physical damage.

This is the correct answer.
Bloodhound's fang for instance can be enchanted despite being unique because it only does physical damage.

With the exception of Bloodhounds Fang, which is upgraded with sombers stones and can be buffed with bloodflame blade and grease.

There are a couple of exceptions to this, including a spear that deals split holy damage and another that deals split magic damage and are both buffable.
