I think Madness could be changed to work similar to Sleep and cause enemies to become vulnerable to a Riposte.
Bleed is because it actually does more than you think, let's say 2 of their swings is enough to bleed you and each hit does like 15% of you hp well in 2 hits they just took out 45% of your hp and even after the nerf gave you a small stagger, well in alot of cases the player is going to panic roll which will lead to another immediate 45%, add in a bit of latency and well.. when they're staggering you mid I-frame out of your dodge what can you do?
Scarlet rot, I don't have much to say about it as there's not many good sources but the scarlet rot breath is over tuned even if you can stagger someone out of it, the damage of the breath itself is high and if you don't have atleast decent poise it staggers you every single tick of damage and can even proc rot in 1 hit, the main problem with this is it also has exceptional range in both length and width as well as it tracks decently, so let's say you space them out for a second cause they're just blood hound step spamming with stars of ruin or something right? well now as soon as they see you even remotely pushing they're gonna use it or even sometimes as you've moved far enough away still running off and it will hit you and it does come out relatively fast so there's not alot of counter play other than using bhs yourself which shouldn't be the answer everyone gives as a counter for literally everything
Madness, dear god some of it is worse than both of those 2 combined, the fact that you can run that one mech build or whatever and proc madness on people to stun and then get a free guarantee'd is nuts, not only does it also do 15% max hp damage but it also does 10%fp and gives a pretty brutal stun animation that gives someone a massive window to use pretty well any attack in the game on you to their choosing while teabagging you both before and after you're dead unable to do anything
