Sprinting through scarlet rot / swamps?

Hey, I've been invading / co-oping a bunch in the haligtree, however I've come across something of which I have no clue why it happens.

Near the ulcerated tree spirit / milicent quest where you help her against her sisters, there's this scarlet lake area. Sometimes I am able to sprint through it, and sometimes I am forced to slow-walk and roll. I have absolutely no clue what causes this difference in ability to run through or not.

As far as I know, I don't have a big or any difference in my build when these occasions, nor do I believe to have a buff on my when it happens.

I'd say this may be a co-op bug, but I've also seen hosts simply running through instead of rolling. Is there something obvious that I am missing?

I believe the center of it is deeper, and the animations have a sort of "cool down" before you regain normal movement. Hard to say really, but those are my observations.

Just try to use bloodhound step just for those and you won't ever have any problems
