Do you lose frenzied eyes after using Miquella's Needle or going into NG+?

I wonder if Miquella's needle removes them or simply turns off eye alteration and you can then still use them after with a mirror.
And if they reset like key items in NG+.

once you go into ng+ everything you did in your previous playthrough (quest-wise) resets.
you lose miquella's needle along with your frenzied flame status.

so if you are worrying about not being able to simp for Melina, you need not worry.
me personally, i did my first playthrough as the lord of chaos because screw Marika's games... having the audacity to banish my kin only to call us back to help her heal the world that SHE broke in half.
rubbish... i'll destroy it completely instead.

next playthrough will be a simp playthrough going with either Melina or Ranni's endings.

I meant visual changes to player's eyes, not the Eyes of Frenzied people key item (Shabriri Grapes).

Not for me. I cured the frenzied flame and did the Age of The Duskborn ending, but when I went to a mirror I still had the frenzy flame markings and eyes. Although the eyes are more.. normal?

They aren't flame-like anymore, just black with slightly glowing orange, instead of the fiery appearance they usually take.

This might have caused your eyes turn into dragon eyes.

It does kinda suck that some of that stuff resets cuz I don’t want to get all the way back to the 3 fingers again just so I can use the frenzy warming stones

sounds like dragon eyes. if you had dragon, then got frenzy, you go back to dragon

go to the mirror to change your character. maybe there is a option to turn it back on since you can deactivate the effect there
