Edit:
Yay. I managed to beat her after a few tries.

So I found this Evergaol today.
It's a bit of a tough nut for me.

I've been leaning pretty heavily into my dual-wielding Curved Swords (pretty powerful jumping attack or sprinting attack, and can use Wing of Astel's "Nebula" art against larger/slow enemies).
Not as effective against this boss! I get punished pretty hard for trying to go in with a powerstanced attack.

I've tried out a few different tricks and have had mixed success.
My character is like Lv.105(?) I think... 40 Points in VIG, 40 Points in INT, 25 DEX, 22ish MND, 20 END, etc.

I put away the Wing of Astel and tried just wielding my Scavenger's Curved Sword (+15ish?) with Cold/INT Scaling.
It seems okay, and when Frostbite triggers it does good work.

I also tested my Antspur Rapier (with +Poison) and found it completely ineffective. (She is immune to all the things!)

She's a bit quick and all over the place for me to get a bead on her attacks and I'm unsure which I can Parry.

... I got her down to about 25% once using Glintblade Phalanx (Ash of War) on my Misericorde+20... She feels quite susceptible to poise breaking, but even that skill activates a bit too slowly for my liking.
Often she's on top of me again before I can get some more Glintblades out.

My best, most consistently 'successful' runs so far has been cracking out the ol' Thorned Whip +14 (which I "retired" when I found my Wing of Astel).

It has a bit more range than the Curved Sword and I feel like I'm able to 'zone' her a bit better (as she dodges backwards to avoid being struck by my whip).

I haven't really tried using Sorceries yet, except the odd Rock Fling when I send her running away from my whip.

With only 40 INT I don't have access to many of the higher end spells. Not sure which would even cast quickly enough to deal with this assassin.

I haven't been making effective use of my shield... I lose a bit too much stamina trying to block her and she's a bit too nimble for me to catch her with a Guard Counter while using the whip.

Would having a second whip help at all? "Power stancing" whips?

you can stun lock her around the rock ledges. once you get her cornered she wont do the crazy move sets. easy mode. DO NOT go for a stabby Stab when you drop her. it will reset move set and F you up. wait it out.

The sorcery Adula's Moonblade dropped by the dragon in front of the church near the Evergaol is effective against her, and only requires 32 INT. The spell got changed in the last patch however and I don't know if its effectiveness against her was changed.

In my experience shields weren't very useful due to her ability to attack quickly, so I would grab a second weapon and learn to dodge. Simply running away from her is often more effective than rolling, such as when she does her leaping area of effect attack.

I've actually put Bloodhound Step on my whip... It's doing me alright so far. ;)
Gets me well out of range of that big red/black splashy thing she does.

Try to use Flame of Redmanes on your Miscerode. It can break stance extremely fast like 1-2 strikes. Then followup with crit and repeat. The strategy is a bit broken honestly.

Shield isn't much good with her because she just backstabs you if you try to block. Cornering her in the rocks is the best strategy unless you have the reflexes of a border collie. I think the Ash Summons of her she drops is the best in the game, often better than your mimic unless you have a perfect build so the fight is well worth the pain.

I dunno what that is, so I don't think I have it!

Yeah, that sounds good.
I've used my Mimic a few times but I don't really care for it.
I find myself using my Banished Knights, or Headless Knight, or even Stormhawk Deenh more often than my Mimic.

I also like the Nightmaiden + Swordstress Puppets.

Its a relatively fast ash of war that can be acquired rather easily.

Well... I did it.
It was sloppy as heck and I got caught by Alecto's GRAB'n'STAB three times... and I used all nine of my health flasks...
But I managed to defeat Alecto in a straight-up fight without getting her stuck or cheesing her (I think? Maybe someone thinks something I did was cheesy!)

Apologies if the video isn't buttery silky smooth!

There was something odd going on with that fight. Noted at 1:19 looks like you were beginning a dodge animation, yet somehow the grab hit you anyway. That should not have happened.

It might have been the start of BHS instead of a dodge.
Maybe that split second of Bloodhound Step does not have any iframes?
I dunno!

You just gotta let her cycle through her attacks until she goes to one of her two jumps attacks, sadly it's One Of Those bosses unless you Can tank / trade some damage. Glad you got her beat though I was so annoyed with her

Yeah I started to figure that out at the end. I would run away from her jumping attacks and then sprint straight at her when she finished.

Problem for me was that I was always slightly emboldened when I landed a hit on her. She seems to have no Poise at all.
So I figured if I could get a quick attack on her, I would interrupt her next attack.

So I kept pushing my luck and trying to test my speed against her's. But she was faster than me most of the time. So I took a lot of hits.
