sir gideon ofnir MISSING

So, I started my ng+ and just noticed the omniscient has gone missing from the start (just got to the round table to do quest so noticed after defeating renala)

At some point he is gone for a bit. I forgot what triggers it, and when he comes back.

Don't you have to speak with Nephali outside the entrance to his study... and then his study doors will close briefly until you speak with the finger reader lady.

Didn't happen on my first game and nephali isn't there, even finding her before godrick

nephli was gone from the castle. and ofnir is gone from his study room. kinda annoying

I am having the same problem, ng+, believe I talked to Nephli at stormveil, but never appeared in roundtable, and after opening ofnirs door he is not inside.

He's near the roundtable. You must talk to him there first then he'll move to his room.

He starts out by the fireplace in the roundtable room. He's kind of hard to see, like blends in.

Damn! He really does blend in! I ran around the table a few times earlier and didn't see him until I read your post and looked again. I _really_ didn't expect to find him actually, but he was there. Oo
Exhausted his dialog, travelled back and forth and now Gideon is in his office and Nephelli outside.

Talk to him in the main table room, then talk to the 2 fingers after getting a Great Rune and his room will open up
