Plus, it's really broken in PVP since status effects for some bizarre reason are able to build up even if the target is rolling, making it an inescapable stunlock for dedicated Frenzy builds by repeatedly charging up the spell at one opponent.
Could take quite a few, but gonna go with Ekzyke's Decay for the added rot benefit.
So far in my experience, frenzy doesn't buildup on successful rolls like bleed and frost does, if you roll just early enough (in regards to the eye burst, nobody has used the other frenzy spells vs me). But it is still very strong when it does connect, and the casting speed problem can actually be remedied a bit with the Radagon Icon talisman
Not the most useful in pvp as it has absolutely no tracking and takes a long time to cast but if you hit, you will hit for some really brutal damage plus knock back if whatever you hit survives it.
You can stack Faithful's Canvas Talisman and Flock's Canvas Talisman, which you should do.
Do it, try both Canvases + Scorpion Charm + Ritual Sword Talisman. Good times.

I'll check it out, thanks
Some numbers:
The Scorpion charms give 12% to the chosen element and increase damage taken by 10%.
The Ritual Sword gives 10% to the overall AR, regardless of how many elements it uses. Useful for weapons with split damage types or for spells - 2 % less damage than Scorpion, but no damage taken penalty.
The difference is so little that it will not lead to you needing even one cast less per boss - but you'd take 10% less damage. Worth thinking about.
Here I tried tried to get the most out of the spell, but I'm sure somewhere out there is a setup able to deal even higher damage.
I think so as well, but I can understand the argument for charging and if you can pull it off, the idol seems like a 'set' talisman along the canvases. I mean, the first thing that comes to mind here is coop - there you CAN charge every spell.
Good talk. Hopefully someone can get something out of it.
I will definitely consider it.
