Probably Frenzied Burst. It's incredibly long range, does decent damage and basically never misses, all at the price of having subpar casting speed.

Plus, it's really broken in PVP since status effects for some bizarre reason are able to build up even if the target is rolling, making it an inescapable stunlock for dedicated Frenzy builds by repeatedly charging up the spell at one opponent.

Gonna go with a dragon spell as you can continue to channel them, which technically counts as hardest hitting if you spend all your stamina on it.

Could take quite a few, but gonna go with Ekzyke's Decay for the added rot benefit.

So far in my experience, frenzy doesn't buildup on successful rolls like bleed and frost does, if you roll just early enough (in regards to the eye burst, nobody has used the other frenzy spells vs me). But it is still very strong when it does connect, and the casting speed problem can actually be remedied a bit with the Radagon Icon talisman

Just a guess but probably Flame, Grant Me Strength + Fire Scorpion Charm + Faithful's Canvas Talisman + Godfrey Icon as your preparation, then throw an oil pot at whatever you want to nuke and finally, a charged Giantsflame Take Thee.
Not the most useful in pvp as it has absolutely no tracking and takes a long time to cast but if you hit, you will hit for some really brutal damage plus knock back if whatever you hit survives it.

You can stack Faithful's Canvas Talisman and Flock's Canvas Talisman, which you should do.

I just realized I do not have this talisman. I'll get it immediately.

Do it, try both Canvases + Scorpion Charm + Ritual Sword Talisman. Good times.

I got summoned in as a blue just in time to see a host get 1 shot with about 1500 HP by a lightning spear the other day, so I guess that can be pretty strong with the right build.

If you guys are ever interested, I put something small together over here, I mention spells and seals and talismans and all that stuff. That one's the best I could manage.

At 75 FTH using Ertree Seal +10 to cast (higher incant scaling) while having equipped Giant's Seal +25 in left to profit from its bonus towards Giants Flame incantations and having Fire Scorpion Charm + Faithful and Flock's Canvas Talisman + Godfrey Icon equipped, throwing a charged Giantsflame Take Thee after applying an Oil Pot to one of the exile soldiers near the Rampart Tower site of grace (now in alert state) and Flame, Grant Me Strength to myself I hit for 3649 dmg, which is roughly 200 more than using Ritual Sword Talisman instead of Godfrey Icon.

Yeah, if you use charged spells a lot, the Idol is a good pick. If you don't, it isn't.

Some numbers:

The Scorpion charms give 12% to the chosen element and increase damage taken by 10%.

The Ritual Sword gives 10% to the overall AR, regardless of how many elements it uses. Useful for weapons with split damage types or for spells - 2 % less damage than Scorpion, but no damage taken penalty.

The difference is so little that it will not lead to you needing even one cast less per boss - but you'd take 10% less damage. Worth thinking about.

Yeah it's mostly not as useful, especially not during boss fights as there is little to no time for charging.
Here I tried tried to get the most out of the spell, but I'm sure somewhere out there is a setup able to deal even higher damage.

I think so as well, but I can understand the argument for charging and if you can pull it off, the idol seems like a 'set' talisman along the canvases. I mean, the first thing that comes to mind here is coop - there you CAN charge every spell.

Good talk. Hopefully someone can get something out of it.

I will definitely consider it.
