Jump itself can dodge a lot of attacks, making it an even better option if being faster and more damage wasn't already enough. Plus there's a dedicated talisman to jump attack damage.
Jump attacks just seem much better in every way.
There's also an armor that gives +10% damage to jump attacks.
roll -> 2H R2
less risky but less damage
i just wish i could see that stagger meter
but you can jump over enemy's attack to land a jump attack. but only if they aren't doing an overhand swing yea.
you can also dismount the horse to get a jump attack
Actually if you can clone that ash of war which increase one hit damage, apply it on both weapons (offhand weapon first, then main hand weapon) and then jump attack. :)
But the 10 seconds of doing nothing between attacks bc every other colossus animation is too slow - perfectly fine.
Don't listen to these ragers - play how you want; they're just jealous.
It's a minor risk, but it's still there.
They also cause regular stagger more consistently and faster than 2 R1 swings depending on the enemy and can deal solid damage to boot.
I dunno, it sometimes just feels like Fromsoft didn't fully realize what they were going for with the whole stance break system, especially with how some enemies have insane poise and very little endlag on their attacks/combos.
