Interesting Never played a 'souls' game so it's all new to me.
I might just commit to a skill and blocking rather than parrying then.
In most cases you will either want parry or "no skill" so you can use the skill of your weapon while wielding the shield.
LOL! Even when getting things explained to me in this game I still don't understand half of it.
Give me an example of how your shield, with no skill, might use the skill of your weapon.
This will allow to you keep blocking attacks without having to switch or 2hand in order to use your weapon's weapon arts.
