Radahn - Star alignment

Hi there!
I'm trying to fight Radahn on my 4th toon and i'm facing some kind of barrier.
Jerren says to me to wait until the stars are aligned, whatever that means.
The thing is, i dont remember anything i did different this playthrough to the others where i could actually fight it.
Anyone knows what that mean?

You need both halves of the Dectus medallion for the fight to be available. After you get both, just warp back there.

Some people are claiming that killing both of the "official" bosses in the castle will also trigger it, but others are saying it doesn't.

just reach the altus plateau, either get both medallions as the guy above me says or climb the secret tunnel west from the lift of dectus. (orange looking circle spot on your map)

Just for the record, I got the medallions, rode the lift, beat the beast guy and crucible knight, but I got the same "stars align" dialogue. I quit and came back, same. I went back to the grand lift, rode up, rode through and found the closest site of grace on atlas plateau. NOW, the festival has begun.

That's right. You have to rest at a grace site on the Altus Plateau to trigger the festival. How you get there doesn't matter. It will also trigger if you go to Ranni's tower and talk to her with or without going to Altus. The way you tell if it's been triggered or not without going into Redmane is to see if the teleporter at the bridge outside the castle is active or not. If it's active then the festival is on.

This is a really good tip I wish I knew. I'm just trying to get bleed on my flail hahaha.

Apparently the festival may also trigger upon getting either half of the haligtree medallion. Or so one user claimed.

in addition to the above info: progressing alexander or blaidd's quest to the point where they tell you to meet them at the festival will start it as well
