Unable to give the primal glintstone to sorceress Sellen

Hi there,
what I did before starting Sellen's questline
- Moved to Altus and got the Azure spell
- Discovered Sellens "new" body near Ranni's rise
- Killed Radahn

Now I started the questline and got the primal glintstone. When moving to Ranni's rise I can't give the stone to her new body.

Is it bugged or am I missing something?

Did you talk to the old man(announcer) in the fort(the one you take the elevator to boss) before Radahn? You need to talk to him and exhaust his dialogue then go to Sellens real body(not the doll) and you will find him there, talk to him and exhaust his dialogue.

After that proceed as normal by giving the primal glintstone to her new body.

I beat Radahn many hours ago and then started the Sellen quest. Announcer at Redmane is no longer there. I can't give the primal glintstone to Sellen in the underground area in Rannie's Rise. Am I just at a loss?

i thought i ran out sellens dialogue in witchbane ruins well before radahn and i checked on her regularly. Ive found her other body in the ruins by renna and ranni rise but no option with her either. I also tried absolving myself at turtle church

I was in this same situation. After I found Sellens body at witchbane ruins, I went back to Radmane Castle to look for the announcer, he was already gone. I went right back to witchbane ruins and he was now there to complete the dialog. I was then able to go and give the primal essence

i wasnt able to give the glintstone till after i triggered the fight in the square ( chamber outside the plaza SOG)

dont know if that was a factor ( didnt need to defeat them just trigger it )

once i did that i tried giving the glintstone and it allowed me..

( just my experience )

*i know this is a little old but still found it useful and thought i could help*

If you go back the Announcer for the Fighting Festival will be sitting in the chair before the elevator to fight Radahn. However i think if you go past the fire giant or even perhaps making it to the mountain tops of the giants this may get locked out.

I am at the end game and decided to do this quest. If you didnt talk to the announcer at all he will be there in the Festival area right before the elevator to to fight Radahn. After that go back to the Witchbane Ruins and he will be there, and you can keep the quest going. I know this was saod throughout the comments, but can confirm even after Fire Giant you can do all this.

Still if anyone can’t get the dialogue with sellen to revive her after running out every dialogue just simply go to round table it will show message sellen body has died and it will solve the issue .
