There are so many named enemies for no reason, you can't except everyone to remember every one of them, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tell them instead of beating around the bush, you twit. Hell I was thinking you were talking about one of the shadow-y dudes with the Mantis Curved Sword. Baleful Shadow is such a nondescript name for who is essentially fight #1 against Blaidd.

He's not a boss. He invades you before going down the Lake of Rot.

Honestly, Baleful Shadow is one of the most notable NPC fights since it is tied to one of the most notable characters in Ranni's questline, being Blaidd.

If you pay no attention to details, it ain't my problem.

It's the werewolf invader near the end of Ranni's questline.

When he uses the big forward leap attack, roll towards him to get behind him for a backstab. He uses that a lot, it's a reliable way to take him down.
