Character auto running

I am having issues, whenever I log in, my character would auto run toward to one direction. I have tried creating a new character and same issue still. Does anyone face the same issue ? Is there a way to fix it ?

Yeah, that sounds like a hardware issue, not software.

I suspected the same thing. However I run other games fine, directions key seems to be working. Strange

Unplug any usb devices that are not your controller/keyboard/mouse. My camera actually caused this on another game before, and the answer was that the game saw an input from another device and interpreted it as up/right on the right joystick (causing the camera to constantly tilt-a-whirl). Hope this helps.

You got it man, apparently I plugged in some other device and the game recgonize the other input as the forward movement command. As soon as I unplug it, problem solved. Thank you.

This was such a big issue for me. I'm playing on PC but using a PS5 controller. If you jump and press the 'dash' button. You will be standing still but as soon as you move you'll be running.

Same issue here, it was my G29 wheel. Every time I open the game, I need to disconnect the wheel's USB, or the character keeps auto-running

You have a joystick or something hooked up or a stuck key giving the game forward input.
