Why are there so many messages with "dog" in them?
Literally everywhere in Limgrave (I haven't got past there yet).

But not everything is a dog, I see it most frequently around the merchant donkeys, which are not dogs.

It's a meme-message, used near animals, which aren't dogs and especially often near turtles. Expect 90% of the messages to be mostly unoriginal attempts at jokes/memes. Also, the JP word for "grass" is used like westerners use "LOL", so you see that a lot too.

I also think, that this particular one is very overused right now, just like "Hidden path ahead" which is used on every, single wall. It's worse, than all the "try jumping"-messages in DS1.

Cause turtle is dog. It's just a meme thing not hurting anyone compared to the schizophrenic "Liar ahead" messages I always read.

For me those messages have been correct 90% of the time since they're right in front of some stupid invisible wall message.
For me they're usually in front of 1-2 other "Liar ahead" messages haha
