Any counter to instant death abusers?
As the title says. Really tired of dying without getting hit by anything.

Running away until the flames wear off and hoping it gets fixed in the future.

Yeah
- Open steam
- From the top -> View -> Players
- The one at the top should be the last person you fought with. Block them.

Haven't actually checked to see if ER data shows up there or not, not all games do.

Less of a build and more of an exploit, it CLEARLY isn't supposed to work the way it actually does if you look at the skills and items in question.

That said, all the host needs to do is run away from the scrubs using this particular setup till the flames where off and they will fail.

I think there is also an incantation or spell that will forcibly cancel the buff...

Have your black crystal in your quick use tab, and if you see an invader with a shotel set themself on fire return home or Alt F4.

Craft death blight ball things(forgot the name, but it curses build up) or use a spell(not sure if there is one im still mid game) to get rid of it, or put on armor + death immunity stuff or put on instant kill/fast damage junk and murder him before he murders you or just run away

Just to be clear this does not work on PC.

The only game to my knowledge where this worked as DS1 on Switch because Nintendo essentially built a firewall between you and the person you blocked.

If the int requirement of the faith spell "law of regression" wasn't so high, I'd recommend it. it dispels buffs and magic effects in a huge aoe.

sidenote, why the ♥♥♥♥ does the faith vendor questline require you to use a 37 int spell, lmao
