Burnout with this game. Too big.
I enjoyed the first 40hs too much, but now (60hs) I'm beginnig to feel a little exausted. The game it's just to big and doesn't know when to end I guess.
Yes, has great content, but after hours and hours of bosses and rewards that becomes useless too early, I don't feel great interest for exploring.Plus, if I want rush to finish the game, the game doesn't guide you like it did in the first zone. Anyone else feels something similar?
This never happened to me with the previous SoulsBorne (I played all).

I wouldn't say that I felt too burned out in about 80 hours I've played (still haven't beaten the game). Complaining about the size is kinda weird considering that as you yourself said, it's quality content and most of it is optional. I wouldn't say that finding your way around to the main objective is too hard. You just need to activate a grand lift by going to a certain fort which the game tells you too and then it's just straight through the capital and the snowy area up to I guess the end of the game (idk haven't checked if i can enter the tree yet)

What do you expect from playing the same game for 50+ hours in under 2 weeks lol

Closing in on 100hrs myself and headed to Melania. Not really feeling burnt out. It helps that I like Basketball so watching that forces me to take a break.
Wish it was 1000x bigger, so your mileage might just vary.

Maybe this is a heavy factor. Ive barely been having time to play between my 2 jobs and my gf, but that makes every little time i manage to get to play really valuable. Gaming is like a relationship. You need a certain balance for it to not become something negative

Don't force yourself to play. Just stop and do something else and the mood will come back.

I'd rather just skip the open world exploration too. The world is amazing, but it doesn't need to be that big. The side quests and more elaborate dungeons are great, but the reused assets and mines/crypts are there just to make you spend more time trying to find relevant stuff.

Good point. Especially with this type of games I guess.

I work too much to play that much. blessing in disguise I guess. Although the rate im going this might just be another skyrim for me where it never truly ends.

All goes back to my original statement that while they did a very good, very true game to the DS genre, it is clearly a boring open world.
Open world is clearly a lack of exp on their part, as no one even in forums seems to want to acknowledge its boring.
You can't shotgun pepper spray an entire open world in NOTHING but npcs to kill, and call that open world.
Lack of versatility in entertainment shows highly, its a wonderful game, but boring as sht in the sense of open world.

Too big is a pretty good complaint for a video game these days.
