Report a translation problem
-Click Settings
-Click Account
-Click the drop down menu to select the latest beta version
-Apply the changes and restart steam, it will do a small download
-Boot up Elden Ring after steam update.

it just happened to me and the game won't launch even after I restarted steam many times.
Are you guys having the same problem?
I know, I'm highly disappointed in the performance while streaming. I lose 20 fps with a 3060 ti. It's absolutely abysmal.
Had to do it manually. So silly
"One of the online fixes was turn OFF Betas in Steam. Mine was already disabled. The fix however is to ENABLE Betas in Steam- Settings Account - Steam Betas Turn on.
Steam will update. then all is good. :-) I have left it on but You may be able to turn it off again? but I have not checked that."

The answer has literally been posted twice in this thread. Top left corner, click on steam and then click on check for steam client update
