After hours of fighting them, it's not even skill that wins the fight anymore, it's just realizing how much this boss is a DDR game. It loses it's enjoyment pretty quickly.

Depends. If u go there with weapon +0 and 5 flask + 0 and u are trolling around, it can be hard.
If you explore a lot and upgrade stuff it becomes trivial for a decent player.

I've been stuck on him. But I think its fair. Timing, and recognizing his moves is key. Every time I've lost. I know it's because I had made mistake. I've been giving the boss's a little more room in this game to observe more. Since the attacks can be random.

It's it's too hard for you, you can either go somewhere else and upgrade your weapons and/or level up in the process, or, there's an item that could help you if you want to "cheat".

It is specifically an item made to make Margit easier.
It's sold by a character you find in a cave in West Limgrave.
Get to the shallow lake, and pass below the big bridge, the cave will be on your left at some point if you continue forward

I can't tell you how to play a game ofc, but if you're playing this game like Demonsouls/darksouls you're gonna struggle. I was doing it and once I (finally) started using charged attacks and guard counters the game became like 1000% easier.

Just explore around and upgrade a bit if you're having issues. He'll feel especially hard if you just bum rush him from the start, but he's still perfectly doable at lower levels.

I spent hours bashing my head to beat Margit

Leveled up and leveled my weapon up and came back and beat him on the second try

I don't think my skill or strategy changed so just leveling up seems to do the trick.

Nah those night horsemen and the first erdtree mounted thing. They both had this horse shoulder barge move that's instant. I also seen the night horsemen do this 360 on 2 legs just to stomp me (missed tho). Also freken jank af side swipe, that's also instant. Had to double hop on torrent to force the AI to stop using it.

The only kinda BS thing about margit is his left hand(s). Not going to spoil but they're quick.
