I enjoy using Rusted Hook on regular mobs but it kinda sucks against bosses, so I'm using pike or katana against bosses.

I recently tried the serpentine katana, the one that inflicts a lot of poison, and it's absurdly powerful. I'm level 95, only 30 in DEX, the weapon isn't even upgraded and I destroyed every mob in Altus with it. You can mix a bit between the different movesets for incredible combos.

My favorite weapon will always be the good old fashioned large club. The most fun play through I ever did in Dark Souls 1 was with a large club, so I have a soft spot for it even though there are usually better bonking sticks.

Plus, I enjoy the hilarity of beating literal godlike beings to death with an oversized tree branch.
